Dr. Robinder (Rob) Bedi, the principal investigator, and Debopriya Sen, co-investigator, are conducting a research study titled, “Examining the role of belief in karma and help-seeking attitudes, treatment credibility and treatment expectancy in relation to counselling and psychotherapy in India”. This study aims to understand the relationship between cultural beliefs, specifically the belief in the concept of karma, and how these beliefs may impact attitudes about help-seeking through counselling and psychotherapy, as well as influence treatment expectations within the diverse population of India. The study involves a survey that takes approximately 8-15 minutes to complete. By participating, you’ll also have the chance to enter a draw for an Amazon gift card worth Rs 635! To participate, you must be 18 years or older, be able to read and respond in English, and currently reside in India.
