December 2016: “Counselling Psychology in Canada” project receives funding from MITACS Globalink Research Internship Program

The “Practice of Counselling Psychology in Canada”  project (PI: Dr. Bedi, Co-Investigator: Master’s Student Kesha Pradhan) receives funding from the MITACS Globalink Research Internship Program. MITACS will be supplying Ms. Xu Huimin, an undergraduate research intern from China for 12 weeks of full-time training and work on the project.

The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive initiative for both Canadian university faculty and international undergraduates from Australia, Brazil, China, France, India, Germany, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. From May to September of each year, top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship under the supervision of Canadian university faculty members in a variety of academic disciplines, from science, engineering and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences.
