June 2017: Dr. Bedi Gives Two Cultural Presentations at SPR 2017 in Toronto, ON

Dr. Bedi gave two presentations at the annual convention of the Society for Psychotherapy Research in Toronto, Ontario.

 

Presentation one was entitled, “Psychotherapy with Punjabi Sikhs using Conventional and Indigenous Strategies” as was part of a panel on “Psychotherapy and Psychotherapy Supervision Across Cultures and Nations.” He was joined on the panel by Dr. Eunjung Lee (associate professor of social work from the University of Toronto) and Dr. Robert Gregory (professor of psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University).

Presentation two was a structured expert discussion presentation entitled “Cultural Factors in Building and Repairing the Working Alliance.” He was joined on this panel by the following experts:
